  12.     Whew!  It has been an extremely busy month for the Column and its members.
  13. Things are progressing better than we ever imagined.  The response that we
  14. have been getting is in a word, phenomenal.  I'd like to thank all those who
  15. have been helping out since the beginning and who have taken time out of their
  16. personal lives to assist in our endeavors.
  17.  
  18.     This could very well be the most explosive issue of DnA ever.  Even though
  19. Sixth Column has only appeared twice before, the information you are about to
  20. read is in a word "incredible".  In this installment we have included two
  21. .GIFs that are copies of FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) documents.  Please
  22. see the file that corresponds to the GIFs for further information.

  30.     In the past few months there has been an enormous response to the
  31. information we have made available.  Many sysops from around the globe are
  32. requesting to be linked up with DnANet and ColumNet.

  44.     We have been toying around with the idea of putting up an online system
  45. for users to order information literature through DnA Systems.  Items
  46. available for ordering will include: books, audio and video tapes, and other
  47. goodies.  All will be available at below retail value.  DnA Systems will take
  48. NO profit in this venture.  Shipping and Handling + Cost = item price.  Only
  49. money orders will be accepted.

  51.     There has been some discussion concerning the privacy of user's name and
  52. addresses.  We have decided to allow users who wish to keep their
  53. address/names/orders completely private, to use PGPed messages to order their
  54. items.

  56.     Only one person will be responsible for handling orders, and will have a
  57. special PGP key for this purpose.  It will be available on the system shortly.

  67.     When I began to delve into the fraud of the Infernal Rape Service (IRS), I
  68. began by reading a series of books written by Irwin Schiff.  His writings are
  69. based on legal facts.  He has written several books such as:
  70.  
  71.      o The Federal Mafia
  72.      o The Biggest Con: How the Government is Fleecing You
  73.      o The Social Security Scam
  74.      o The Great Income Tax Hoax
  75.      o How Anyone Can Stop Paying Income Taxes
  76.      o The Kingdom of Moltz

  79.     He was UNLAWFULLY put in phederal prison because he stopped "volunteering"
  80. for the phederal income tax (tribute).  I have read the court transcripts of
  81. the case and it doesn't take a genius to see the fraud and cover-up committed
  82. by the IRS, US Attorney, and the Federal Judge.
  83.  
  84.     Irwin Schiff was to be released from federal prison in December of 1993,
  85. however it has been discovered that he was released early!
  86.  
  87.     He will be touring the country immediately, doing seminars, speaking on
  88. radio addresses, tv and cable interviews.  During September he will be in
  89. California, and then the fun begins.

  91.     I have already been in contact with Irwin Schiff.  We will be meeting with
  92. him personally when he arrives.  He has recently bought a modem and is curious
  93. about the implications of CyberSpace.  (If he only knew)
  94.  
  95.     I have not received any information as to his current schedule.  I will
  96. post his dates/locations/times the moment I get them on DnA Systems.
  97. Information will probably be available in mid-September.  I recommend that if
  98. you have the opportunity, go to his seminar and listen to him.  You will be
  99. amazed!

  106.                             File Section Expanding

  109.     In the past six to seven months since the birth of the Column, our file
  110. section has been expanding on a daily basis.  Not including the H/P side of
  111. DnA Systems, we now house over 1,500 files of information not readily
  112. available to the average citizen.
  113.  
  114.     Users from all over the country have been downloading hundreds of files on
  115. a weekly basis.  Some even batch the entire section and d/l 24 megs at once.
  116. I personally have been bombarded with e-mail by people who wish to thank us
  117. for the opportunity to access this information and provide it to the people in
  118. CyberSpace.
  119.  
  120.     Since the beginning, DnA Systems has maintained that all information
  121. should be free.  To this end, there are NO RATIOS for file access.  I'm glad
  122. to see that many, many people are taking advantage of this.

  124.     Just this past week, the CIA released more documents on the JFK
  125. assassination.  If anyone has any new information files, please send them to
  126. DnA Systems.

  128.     If anyone knows where we can get an electronic copy of Clinton's New Tax
  129. and Spend Package, please let us know.  We have been searching for it but
  130. haven't found anything yet.  If you have any information, please call DnA
  131. Systems and leave me e-mail.

  133.     With more and more people uploading new information from all corners of
  134. the world, we hope to double the number of files by the end of the year.

  138.                              Modem Buyers Beware!

  141.     Imagine that you wished to upgrade your slow 2400bps modem to say, a
  142. 14.4kbps modem.  First thing you would probably do is shop around before you
  143. bought one, just to see the difference in prices.
  144.  
  145.     Let us also imagine that you happened to find yourself in Computer City
  146. (owned by Tandy Corp.), and that you had noticed a nice internal 14.4kbps modem
  147. on sale for a reasonable price.  A sales person approaches you and the
  148. conversation follows these lines:

  150. Sales Weasel: Afternoon, can I help you find anything today?
  151.  
  152. CyberPerson: Yes, I'm interested in this internal 14.4kbps modem with the 14.4
  153.              fax.  Could I take a look at the box to see the specs?
  154.  
  155. Sales Weasel: Sure thing.  (opens cabinet and hands box to the customer)

  157. CyberPerson: Hmmm (mumbling to himself) MNP-5 . . . error correction . . .

  166.              point me in the direction of the cash register and I'll complete

  170.                  with several pages under the clip)  We need you to fill this
  171.                  out first please.

  173. CyberPerson: (Notices it is some kind of registration form)  Why do you need
  174.              my driver's license and Social Security Number?

  176. BB Sales Weasel: It's part of the registration.

  178. CyberPerson: But I haven't even purchased the damn thing yet!  (Begins losing
  179.              temper at this point)  Why don't we get the manager out here?

  186.     This exchange actually happened not too long ago at a Computer City in
  187. California.  I don't know about the rest of you out there, but I'm not going
  188. to register my modem with any damn corporation or any other entity if I can
  189. avoid it.  Especially when they ask for a Driver's License and a Socialist
  190. Security Number!

  192.     Goes along the same lines as the NSA wanting it to be a requirement for
  193. all users of public key encryption to register their private keys with them.
  194. Yeah right!  Would you want your personal information in some database
  195. accessible by any number of entities who could cross-reference your Social
  196. (In)Security Number?

  203.     We've been toying around with the idea of putting a month by month column
  204. concerning the unconstitutional acts of judges, U.S. Attorneys, Lawyers, etc.
  205. Our premier article is quite a shocker.  We want to give all who read this
  206. magazine the opportunity to add their stories to this section.  If you have
  207. been screwed, or are being screwed in an unconstitutional manner, we would
  208. like to hear about it and publish it in the next issue of DnA.  ALL articles
  209. will be considered, we do not censor for subject matter.  Please put as many
